An overview of Alerts in the Byos Management Console
Alerts in the Byos Management Console
Alerts shown in the Byos Management console originate from the Secure Edge devices, giving the Admin a view of what’s going on. Alerts can be filtered by past day, week, month, year, or all time.
Alerts will show up in the table by:
- Category - Security, Device, Network
- Alert
- Edge Name
- Edge Serial Number
- Time
Types of Alerts
- Captive Portal
- Alerts related to Captive Portal Connections
- Security
- Blocked IP address session requests from Blocked Countries, as defined in the Policy Group
- Internal
- Edge-case error scenarios.
- Licensing
- Successful and Failed Activation of Edges
- Login
- Alerts related to authenticating to Edges
- Routing
- Alerts for changes to policy routing scenarios
- Updates
- Software Update of Edges
- Other
- Misc. Alerts related to Edge functionality
